COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The third-ranked Texas A&M equestrian team looks to close out the fall portion of its schedule on a high note when the Aggies host South Dakota State on Saturday at the Brazos County Expo Complex in Bryan. The show is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. and admission is free.

A&M (4-2) has won three straight competitions, and is coming off an impressive road swing through Big 12 country two weeks ago that included wins at then-No. 7 Kansas State and then-No. 4 Oklahoma State. Both the Aggie hunter seat and western teams are 4-2 on the season and both are undefeated at home this fall.

The Jackrabbits are 2-0 in varsity equestrian competitions this year with victories over Delaware State and TCU in early October.

Saturday will mark the first-ever meeting between the two programs under the varsity equestrian format, adopted several seasons ago.

Several activities are planned for fans attending the competition, including pony pictures for the kids. In addition, members of last year's national champion western team will receive their rings in a ceremony. The 3,000-seat Expo Complex is located at 5827 Leonard Road in Bryan.
