"Taniqua is the wild card of the bunch. We sort of found her through Katy Pounds' dad and Coach Schaefer kept going back to the Lubbock area to watch her play. When I finally saw her play in the regional tournament, I just fell in love with her game. She reminds me of an Andrea Riley with the same body frame. She can shoot it deep - the whole nine yards. I just like her attitude. She has so much pride and she has really fallen in love with Texas A&M. Taniqua is just a kid that is going to go out there and play. We were lucky to be able to sign her late, especially for a player of her caliber." - Texas A&M Head Coach Gary Blair
