"Danielle Gant has the perfect body and skills to play in the WNBA someday. It is awfully hard to score against somebody as physical as she is. Is there a better 5-10 player in the Big 12 Conference than Gant? I don't think so. No one plays the game as hard as she does on both ends of the court. She made the All-Big 12 Defensive Team twice, because she always guards the other team's best three or four player. She is the most unselfish star that I've ever coached. She passes up shots to setup her teammates, because she will only take good shots. That's why her shot selection and her shooting percentages are always so high. She also takes the ball to the hole and is by far the best finisher we have on our team." - Texas A&M Head Coach Gary Blair
