"Sydney played for a great high school team in DeSoto which finished second in state this past year. She played mostly at the two-guard, because her team had a small guard similar to Aqua at the one. We had the opportunity to watch her play the point guard position in summer and fall ball and we knew that's what we recruited her for. Right now, we need her at the point guard position and she is going to be a good leader on our basketball team. Sydney is a top-notch student and I like kids who come from good high school programs. She knows what work is all about and was coached by a former A&M student in AAU ball. It is always good to hear people talk about kids that they believe in, especially Aggies." - Texas A&M Head Coach Gary Blair
