Former Texas A&M tennis star Lester Cook, a three-year Aggie letterman (2002-04), was defeated in an extremely close match in the first round of the U.S. Open qualifying tournament held in New York on Thursday, Aug. 26.

ITA Summer Circuit - Day 2 Brackets

The ITA Summer Circuit continues all today at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center. Aggie sophomore Janelle Cuthbertson is in the women's Round of 16, and A&M men Alberto Bautista and Austin Klores will be playing in the Round of 32 starting at 9:20 a.m. Saturday.

Collegiate men and women's tennis players are converging at Texas A&M's George P. Mitchell Tennis Center this weekend to compete in the ITA Summer Circuit. Action gets underway Friday at 10 a.m. and runs through Monday. Admission is free.
