Military Appreciation Day at Kyle Field on Saturday

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M athletics department has declared the Aggie football game against Iowa State on Saturday, Oct. 31 as Military Appreciation Day at Kyle Field.

All veterans, as well as currently enlisted service men and women, are able to purchase half-price tickets to the game. Log onto AggieAthletics.com and click on tickets or go directly to http://tickets.12thmanfoundation.com and follow the links to the Military Appreciation Day page. Veterans may also call the ticket hotline number at 1-888-99-AGGIE (888-992-4443) or locally at 1-979-845-2311. Veterans may also purchase tickets in person at the Kyle Field ticket offices located at the north end of Kyle Field.

The Spirit Flag will be raised by the student group, Silver Wings. This group is a national service organization that works to create strong leaders with professional attitudes.

Throughout the game, the 12th Man TV will highlight and honor veterans as well as currently enlisted individuals.

In conjunction with the Fightin' Texas Aggie Band at halftime, the more than 600 currently enrolled Aggie veterans will be highlighted on Kyle Field as the band performs "America the Beautiful".
