2007-08 (AT BUTLER CC): Two-year letterwinner for coach Steve Johnson at Butler Community College (El Dorado, Kansas) ... as a sophomore (2008), led the Grizzlies in batting average, starts, runs scored, hits, walks, doubles and stolen bases ... hit .408 for the year with three home runs, 49 RBIs, 58 runs scored and 15 stolen bases ... was a first-team All-Region VI and first-team All-Conference selection ... earned preseason All-America accolades after an impressive freshman campaign which saw him hit .392 with 65 hits, nine doubles and 38 RBIs ... named second-team All-Conference in 2007, helping lead the Grizzlies to a 39-15 record and a trip to the Region VI semifinals ... played summer ball for the Outer Banks Daredevils (Kill Devil Hills, N.C.) of the Coastal Plain League in 2008 ... hit .258 with 18 RBI and 10 stolen bases.
