Doubles Round of 16 Quotes:

(1) Renata Kucerkova (Fresno State):

"I think that we started pretty well. We got the first set pretty quick. We kind of had a bad start at the beginning of the second set. They were still leading, and we were just catching up. We lost our energy for a little bit, but we pulled it off in the third set. I think we just lost a few points after that. Then we were non-stop after that with all the poach, serves, returns and everything. We just pulled the win in six to two."

Caitlin Whoriskey (Tennessee)

(On her and partner Natalie Pluskota’s upset over No. 2 seeded Kristy Frilling and Kelcy Tefft of Notre Dame)

“We didn’t really have much to lose going in. They are ranked No. 2. We are No. 10. We played aggressive and we ended up with a victory. We played them earlier in the season and we watched them play yesterday. We were going for a high serve percentage, serve to their forehands, go after it and try to cross and play aggressive. That was our game plan.”
