STATION, Texas - The No. 16 Texas A&M men's tennis team looks to stay
unbeaten Saturday as it travels to Fort Worth for a dual match with No. 67 TCU.
First serve against the Horned Frogs is slated for 1 p.m. at the Bayard H.
Friedman Tennis Center.

The Aggies head into the weekend with a perfect 4-0 record making
this the third consecutive season A&M has won the first four matches under
head coach Steve Denton. A win this weekend against the Horned Frogs would be
the team's best start since the 1999 team started 6-0, as well as the best
start under Denton.
"TCU is a much improved team at every position, and I expect we
will be in for a fight this weekend," Denton said. "They are solid at every
position in singles and doubles, and I expect a very large and boisterous crowd
rooting against us on Saturday. It will be very interesting to see the mindset
of our team after coming off a very successful weekend at Stanford. We have to
be ready to compete our tails off, but I expect us to play well."
The Aggies, who jumped 10 spots in the most recent ITA national
poll, look to keep the momentum rolling after sweeping two top-30 teams last
weekend in No. 10 Stanford, 4-0, and No. 27 San Diego, 7-0. Freshmen Harrison
Adams and Shane Vinsant led Texas A&M, combining to help the Aggies earn
five of the 11 points on the weekend. Adams, who clinched both matches, was
named the SEC Freshman of the Week after his performance in Palo Alto. The duo
of Adams and Vinsant, ranked sixth nationally, has posted a 14-4 record overall
and a 3-0 record in dual matches and each holds a 4-0 individual record in
singles play. Other notables for Texas A&M include No. 87 Jordan Szabo, No.
103 Jeremy Efferding and Jackson Withrow, who all have 3-0 records on the
spring.
TCU has a 4-1 record on the year with wins against Detroit,
UT-Arlington. UTSA and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, while the loss came
against No. 20 Michigan. TCU features eight returners from last year's 9-15
team, including sophomore Arnau Dachs who is ranked 100th nationally
in singles and has a 4-0 record on the season. Other notables for the Horned
Frogs include Rodolfo Bustamante and Facundo Lugones, who both have 4-0 records
in singles, while the doubles team of Will Stein and Nick Chappel boasts a 3-0
record.
Texas A&M and TCU most recently met on the courts last season
when the Aggies downed the Horned Frogs, 6-1, at the George P. Mitchell Tennis
Center in College Station.
Texas A&M will be in action again on Thursday, Feb. 7, when
