COLLEGE STATION,
Texas - ESPN released its 2013 NCAA softball broadcast schedule Tuesday,
which includes at least two Texas A&M softball games.
The Aggies, in their first season in the Southeastern
Conference (SEC), will play a pair of conference matchups in front of a live
national audience. A&M's March 23 game at Tennessee will air on ESPNU,
while the Aggies' home contest against LSU on April 13 can be seen on ESPN.
In addition to the two regular-season games, the entire SEC
tournament, including both play-in games will be broadcast on ESPN networks. ESPNU
will air each play-in, quarterfinal and semifinal game, and ESPN2 will pick up
the championship game. The SEC Tournament is set for May 8-11 in Lexington, Ky.
ESPN's returning line-up of college softball analysts
includes Garland Cooper, Jennie Finch, Cheri Kempf, Jessica Mendoza, Michele
Smith, and Aggie All-American Amanda Scarborough with Beth Mowins, Pam Ward,
Cara Capuano, Joe Davis, Holly Rowe and Adam Amin on deck bringing the
play-by-play each week.
A composite SEC broadcast schedule - which will include
games from FOX, CSS, CST and ESPN, will be released at a later date. To learn
