COLLEGE STATION, Texas - No. 20 Texas A&M (12-5,
2-5) return home to face-off with Auburn (13-3, 2-1) at 2 pm Sunday.
Sunday's match up will be the third meeting between the two programs with the
Aggies victorious in the previous two match-ups.
The teams met most recently Nov. 22, 2009 at the Beard-Eaves
Memorial Coliseum in Auburn, Ala., the final score was 79-59 in the Aggies
favor. Texas A&M was led by Danielle Adams' 22 points off the bench. Tanisha
Smith chipped in 14 with Adaora Elonu adding 13 in the game.
Last time out the Aggies pushed No. 6 Kentucky to the brink
their last outing, falling 65-62 despite an impressive 27 point and 15 rebound
night from reigning SEC player of the week junior Kelsey Bone and senior Kristi
Bellock's career high 16 points. Bone has taken
charge of the A&M team leading the Aggies in scoring in nine of the last 10
games, averaging 22.5 points and 11.4 rebounds per game. Bone has had
double-double in six of the last seven games including the last four straight.
Bellock recorded her third career double-double against the Wildcats with 10
rebounds to go along with 16 points. Since SEC play started Bellock has
elevated her play averaging 12.3 points and nine rebounds in each conference
game.

Auburn game will continue the half-price Holiday Hoops promotion and will be
youth basketball day, youths can wear their jersey and stop by the box office
to get a free ticket.
