COLLEGE STATION,
Texas - Eleven high school seniors signed national letters of intent to
compete on the national champion Texas A&M equestrian team last week, head
coach Tana McKay announced.
Western riders Kaci Fisher (Abilene), Rachel Lucht (College
Station), Sarah McEntire (Four Oaks, N.C.), Annie Sloop (West Linn, Ore.),
Jordan Soechting (New Braunfels) and Aubrey Videtich (Rockford, Mich.), along
with hunter seat riders Isabella Norton (Alexandria, Va.), Anna Rea (Ponte
Vedra, Fla.), Sophie Reiter (Summit, N.J.), Maddie Swem (Duxbury, Mass.) and
Haley Webster (Brentwood, Calif.), will all join the Aggie program in the fall
of 2013.
"I'm really pleased with this signing class," McKay
said. "All 11 riders are going to make a positive impact on this program and
are among the best up-and-coming equestrian athletes in the country. We are
looking forward to welcoming this outstanding signing class to our team next
fall."
