The 6-2 attacking-minded setter not only averaged 13.14 assists per set, but the lefty also averaged 2.29 kills, 3.0 digs and 2.50 points per set and hit .324 to lead Texas A&M to a sweep against Alabama and a crucial 3-1 victory over Arkansas, which kept the Aggies atop the SEC Western Division.

Sawatzky, who hails from St. Andrews, Manitoba, Canada, had 46 assists in the sweep against Alabama, besting her previous three-set season high by 10. She also added eight kills while hitting at a .538 clip to help the Aggies outhit the Crimson Tide, .322 to .194.

Sawatzky directed a balanced attack against Arkansas as the Aggies outhit the Razorbacks, .265 to .162 with four A&M players reaching double figures in kills. Sawatzky dished out 46 assists in the victory, giving her 3,108 for her career and moving her into sixth place in the A&M career records. She also added eight kills and tied her career high with 15 digs against the Razorbacks to notch her ninth double-double of the season.

For the season, Sawatzky leads SEC setters with 1.89 kills per set for the full season and 1.83 kills per set in SEC matches only. She is seventh in the league with 10.16 assists overall and is third with a 10.72 average in conference matches only.

Sawatzky and the Aggies (19-5, 11-4 SEC) hit the road this weekend, playing at Auburn Friday at 7 p.m. and then facing Georgia for the first time as SEC foes on Sunday in Athens. The match against the Bulldogs begins at 1 p.m. (CT) and will be televised by Comcast (CSS).
