2012 (FRESHMAN) Earned honorable mention All-Big 12 honors in his first season in Aggieland...made his first career start on February 26 against Holy Cross where he went 2-for-3 in his Aggie debut...started 47 games (29-3B, 12-2B, 6-SS)...batted .289 (43-for-149) with three doubles, two triples, 16 runs scored, and 14 RBI...season featured 13 multi-hit games...went 2-for-4 with three RBI in the win at Texas...finished in the top ten in the conference in both walks and triple.
AT BOERNE CHAMPION HIGH SCHOOL Played for Chuck Foster at Boerne Champion High School ... garnered first team all-district honors three consecutive seasons and first team all-area honors his final two years ... named to the San Antonio Express News Super Team twice, including player of the year and all-state honors as a senior (2011) ... holds the school record for every major offensive category at CHS ... batted above .400 his final three seasons with a high of .480 as a senior when he scored 61 runs and collected 44 RBI ... also played football, lettering twice as a wide receiver/defensive back ... played summer ball with Brazos Valley Renegades.
