BRYAN, Texas - In the Aggies' final regular-season match, the No. 6 Texas A&M equestrian team (5-5, 1-4 SEC) will host No. 2 Georgia (7-4, 2-3 SEC) on Senior Day, Friday at the Brazos County Expo Complex.

The meet is set to begin at 9:15 a.m. with Senior Day festivities, followed by reining at 10 a.m., equitation over fences at 11:45 a.m., horsemanship at 1 p.m., and ending with equitation on the flat at 2:45 p.m. The Senior Day presentation, reining and horsemanship will take place in the North Arena while both hunter seat events will occur in the South Arena

The sixth-ranked Aggies are hot off of their first-ever SEC win after topping now-No. 1 Auburn at home last weekend, 10-7. Senior Laura Brainard earned her fourth MOP award of the season during the meet, and ties for the most MOP awards among SEC horsemanship riders. A&M split hunter seat disciplines with the Tigers, but came out ahead overall with a 5-4 hunt seat win. A 5-3 western win secured the Aggies' first win of the spring and first win in league competition.

Thirteen A&M seniors will be honored before the competition tomorrow. Kristin Bell, Amanda Brightwell, Morgan Cleveland, Cassie Mantor, Becca Murray, Emma Myers, Carey Nowacek, Kori Pickett, CiCi Riddle, Kelsi Shevlin, Amanda Whitney, Brittany Williams and Emily Williams will be recognized for their achievements at A&M. The Aggie equestrian class of 2013 owns five national championships, four western and one overall, and a Big 12 Championship.

After the meet with the Bulldogs tomorrow, A&M will travel to the first-ever SEC Championships in Auburn, Ala. Seeding for the tournament will be finalized following Friday's meet.  To learn more about Texas A&M equestrian, log on to AggieAthletics.com and follow @AggieEquestrian on Twitter.
