BRYAN, Texas - The No. 6 Texas A&M equestrian team (4-5, 0-4 SEC) returns home for its final two regular-season meets, hosting No. 2 Auburn (8-1, 4-1 SEC) Friday in a 9 a.m. contest at the Brazos County Expo Complex.

The Aggies and Tigers will compete in one discipline at a time, each in the North Arena. Approximate start times are 9 a.m. (equitation over fences), 10:45 a.m. (horsemanship), 12:15 p.m. (equitation on the flat), and 1:45 p.m. (reining).

A&M most recently dropped an 8-12 decision at No. 5 South Carolina and is on the hunt for its first Southeastern Conference win. Despite the loss to the Gamecocks, the Aggies took three of four Most Outstanding Player awards as Hannah Williams (equitation on the flat), Molli Jacobs (horsemanship) and Lindsey Bernbaum (reining) earned best-in-discipline honors.

This marks the second meeting between A&M and Auburn this season. The Aggies traveled to Auburn in October and fell, 11-9, to the Tigers.

The programs have faced off four times in the varsity format, with Auburn leading the series 3-1. Auburn was the 2011 overall and hunter seat National Champion.
