The athletes will be representing six different countries in several different events, with the diving already underway and the swimming taking place from July 24th-31st.

For the women, sophomore Lili Ibañez (Mexico) will be swimming the 50, 100, and 200-meter freestyle, senior Rita Medrano (Mexico) will swim the 100 and 200-meter butterfly, 2009 senior Julia Wilkinson (Canada) will swim the 50 freestyle, 100 backstroke, and 200 IM, and 2008 senior Triin Aljand (Estonia) will compete in the 50 free and the 50 and 100 fly.

Senior Amini Fonua (Tonga), on behalf of the men, will swim the 50 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke. Senior Grant Nel (Australia) and former A&M standout Eric Sehn (Canada) have already seen action in Shanghai with Nel taking 19th in the 1m springboard, while Sehn took eighth the 10m synchro platform.

In other action, several Aggies will be competing in Canada's Summer National Championships in Pointe-Claire, Quebec July 21-24. Competing in the meet that will serve as Canada's Pan American Games Trials will be sophomore Kyle Troskot from the men's team and junior Tess Simpson, sophomore Paige Miller and 2010 senior Melanie Dodds from the women's squad. The 2011 Pan American Games are being contested in Guadalajara, Mexico, and Medrano and Ibañez are already qualified for the event in their home country.
