Kelly Bond-White was promoted to associate head coach on June 21, 2007, and is in her 10^th season with the Texas A&M women's basketball program.

Bond-White has spent the last 12 years on Texas A&M head coach Gary Blair's coaching staff including his nine years at Texas A&M and last three at the University of Arkansas. During that time, she has been a part of 10 NCAA Tournament appearances with the nationally-ranked Aggies and Razorbacks combined.

Her recruiting ties have been key for Texas A&M and her contributions on the court have also developed the best guard corps in the league. Bond-White has been instrumental in evaluating and signing recruiting classes that have been consistently ranked in the top 20 in the nation. A&M’s most recent classes have included the No. 6-ranked recruiting class in 2008-09, the fifth-best class in 2009-10, No. 3 in 2010-11 and No. 2 in 2011-12 – the highest-ranked recruiting class in school history.

Bond-White has helped the Aggies reach new heights as they captured the programs’ first NCAA National Championship in 2011. That season, A&M earned a program-best No. 1 ranking in the national polls and closed out the year with a 33-5 record, the most victories in school history.

With Bond-White on the bench, Texas A&M returned to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the fourth time in five years in 2012. The Aggies made a school-record seventh straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament and recorded their seventh consecutive 20-win season. In Bond’s tenure at A&M, the program also boasts a pair of trips to the Elite Eight and three Big 12 Championships.

"Coach Bond-White has done an outstanding job of keeping Texas A&M on the map and on the national scene," Blair said. "She has been very loyal, has helped us sustain continuity within our staff and has been extremely productive. Coach Bond-White is one of the best young coaches in the country and is the complete package with her knowledge of the game, her preparation for an opponent, her ability to recognize and make adjustments in-game and her ability to communicate the game to our young ladies."

When Blair was appointed to the Texas A&M post back in 2003, he knew of the challenges that lay ahead, especially in recruiting. Bond-White was someone who knew Blair's system well and knew the type of players it would take to rise to the top. As a result, the Aggies have had seven top 20 recruiting classes including five Gatorade Players of the Year, six McDonald's High School All-Americans, 10 All-Big 12 First Team selections, three John R. Wooden Award candidates, three Wade Trophy candidates, two Naismith Award candidates and 10 Associated Press All-America honors. Nine players on 12 occasions were also selected to participate in the USA Women’s Basketball National Team Trials. But most importantly, the Texas A&M women's basketball program has graduated and passed out Aggie Rings to 100 percent of the young ladies who have been brought into A&M.

Bond-White previously served as an assistant coach at Arkansas (2000-03) and Providence College (1999-00). A former student-athlete, she played point guard for the University of Illinois and helped the Illini achieve several milestones during her four-year career including back-to-back NCAA Sweet 16 appearances. Bond-White also led the squad to the 1997 Big Ten Championship. During her junior and senior seasons, the Illini reached the 1997 and 1998 NCAA Tournaments and posted 20-win seasons.

A 1998 graduate of Illinois with a bachelor's degree in sociology, Bond-White played her high school basketball for the late legendary Chicagoland coach Arthur Penny at Whitney Young High School in her hometown of Chicago, Ill. She and her husband, Christopher, are the proud parents of Lauryn Christina, born June 25, 2012. They currently reside in College Station and have two Yorkies, MJ and Pip.
