COLLEGE STATION- No. 17 Texas A&M honors three senior players and three senior managers on Thursday, February 27 at 7 p.m. as Arkansas visits to close out the home portion of the regular season schedule.

The game is televised live on Fox Sports Southwest Plus, which can be found on these channels. Will Johnson and Tap Bentz will be on the call for the game. The game can also be heard on KZNE 1150 AM in Bryan-College Station, with Gabe Bock and Bret Dark bringing the game to the listeners.

About 15 minutes prior to tip, Texas A&M will honor seniors Cristina Sanchez-Quintanar, Kristen Grant and Karla Gilbert, as well as senior managers Kyle Felan, Casey Gilbert, and Christina Richardson, all of whom are participating in their last regular season home game at Reed Arena.

The Aggies and Razorbacks were long-time rivals in the Southwest Conference until 1991, resuming their rivalry in 2013 when Texas A&M joined the Razorbacks in the SEC. Arkansas led the series 20-2 in the Southwest Conference era, but A&M has won the two matchups since, defeating the Razorbacks 61-59 in the 2012 NCAA Tournament at Reed Arena and 63-51 in the only SEC matchup so far in Fayetteville, Ark. during 2012-13.

Texas A&M Head Coach Gary Blair spent 1993-2003 as head coach of the Razorbacks before coming to Aggieland. Blair led Arkansas to the 1998 Women's Final Four, and is going into the state of Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame on Friday. Arkansas Head Coach Tom Collen was an assistant to Blair from 1993-97 at Arkansas.

In addition, two Aggie assistants have Arkansas ties. Assistant Coach Amy Wright is still the Razorbacks' all-time assist leader after playing for Blair from 1998-02. Associate Head Coach Kelly Bond-White was an assistant with Blair and coached Wright from 2000-03 before moving to A&M.

A&M has won 14 of their last 17 games and is still in the hunt for SEC Tournament seeding and a regular season championship, but must win its remaining two regular season games to have any hope of doing so. The Aggies have clinched a bye into the league quarterfinals, marking the ninth straight year the Aggies have finished Top 4 in their conference.

Arkansas, at 18-9, is looking for an NCAA Tournament Resume-boosting win. The Razorbacks upset No. 19 LSU on Sunday in Baton Rouge, and are trying to increase their SEC Tournament seeding as well.

After this game, Texas A&M closes out the regular season at Florida on Mar. 2, a game televised by CSS. Reed Arena next opens its doors on Mar. 23 for the First Round of the NCAA Tournament. Should the Aggies qualify for the NCAA Tournament, they will play in the College Station Subregional.
