Seventh-Annual BTHO Breast Cancer Game set for Feb. 18

Texas A&M Women's Basketball will host the seventh-annual Beat the Hell Outta Breast Cancer game Monday, Feb. 18 when the No. 11 Aggies host the No. 9 Kentucky Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. (CT) at Reed Arena.

COLLEGE STATION - Texas A&M Women's Basketball will host the seventh-annual Beat the Hell Outta Breast Cancer game Monday, Feb. 18 when the No. 11 Aggies host the No. 9 Kentucky Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. (CT) at Reed Arena.

Texas A&M's Beat the Hell Outta Breast Cancer game will benefit the Kay Yow Foundation in honor of the late North Carolina State head coach who passed away at the age of 66 on Jan. 24, 2009, after battling the disease and promoting breast cancer awareness since her initial diagnosis in 1987. In the past six seasons A&M has raised over $150,000 for breast cancer.

The official 2013 BTHO Breast Cancer T-Shirt is on sale for $10 and luminaries are available for $10, with each additional luminary being $5. The T-Shirts and luminaries are on sale now until Feb. 18 on campus 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Wehner, Koldus and the Rec Monday through Friday and at every home Aggie basketball, softball and baseball game. Each luminary can dedicated to someone special that has been affected by Breast Cancer, on the night of the game the luminaries will be lit on the concourse of Reed Arena.

College Students are invited to take part in the First Annual 3-on-3 BTHO Breast Cancer Tournament presented by the College Station Medical Center will be held on Feb. 17. Each player will receive a free t-shirt, and a meal; the winning team will travel with the Aggies to Tennessee for the Feb. 28 match-up with the Lady Vols.

During the BTHO Breast Cancer game on Feb. 18, there will be a silent auction held in Reed Arena. This auction will have prizes such as autographed footballs, basketball, sponsor packages, etc. No signup is necessary, just show up to the game and bid. Cash or check only will be accepted.
