COLLEGE STATION, Texas – Texas A&M Aggies rising sophomore Logan Taylor was named Warstic Texas Collegiate League Player of the Week the league announced on Monday.

Taylor helped the Acadiana Cane Cutters win six consecutive games, hitting .522 (12-for-23) with three home runs, 11 runs, seven stolen bases and seven RBI for the week. He tallied a .913 slugging percentage and .621 on-base percentage.

As a freshman for the Aggies, Taylor hit .189 with eight runs, five doubles, four RBI and one stolen base.

Taylor was the second Acadiana and A&M player to earn TCL Player of the Week accolades in 2013, joining Mitchell Nau who was honored on June 27.
