2012 (FRESHMAN)
Played in 28 games, starting 15 (10-DH, five-C)...hit .217 in his first season on campus (13-for-60) with two doubles, seven runs scored, and 13 RBI...had a season high four RBI performance where he also earned his first collegiate start, as well as his first collegiate hit in an 8-1 victory over Holy Cross on February 26...had a three RBI performance against Missouri on May 24 in the Big 12 Conference Tournament.

AT KLEIN HIGH SCHOOL
Played at Klein High School in Spring, Texas, for Barry Smith ... helped lead KHS to back-to-back state tournament appearances ... selected as the 2010 District 13-5A Newcomer of the Year ... also selected as a TSWA honorable-mention All-State catcher ... voted to the Class 5A All-State Tournament Team as both a junior and senior ... during the 2010 campaign, maintained a blistering .435 batting average while collecting 21 extra base hits, including 19 doubles ... named first team all-district and second team all-state after connecting on 13 home runs as a senior (2011) ... also played football, lettering three years as a linebacker.
