Appeared in 12 games for the Aggies, making three starts in midweek games...posted a 2-0 record with a 3.52 ERA and 30.2 innings pitched...struck out 17 while walking 10...made his collegiate debut against Illinois-Chicago on Feb. 18 where he pitched one inning and allowed one hit in a 9-2 win...earned his first collegiate win in his first start on Feb. 29 against Northwestern State where he pitched a season-high seven innings, allowed six hits, one run, walked one and struck out four...had his season high in strikeouts against Prairie View A&M when he went 4.1 innings, allowed four hits, one run, struck out five and walked two.

Played for Barry Smith at Klein High School in Spring, Texas ... helped lead school to back-to-back state tournament appearances ... in 42.2 innings pitched as a junior (2010), put together a 5-1 record with a 3.28 ERA and struck out 59 batters while only allowing 18 walks ... member of the National Honor Society.
