Day Two of U.S. Collegiate Championship in the Books

APLHARETTA, Ga. - The No. 15 Texas A&M men's golf team competed for the second straight day at the U.S. Collegiate Championship on Saturday, finishing the tournament's second round in 14th place.

Following an opening-round score of 303 on Friday, the Aggies fired a team round of 301 Saturday to give them a two-day total of 604 strokes. UCLA leads the event with a two-day total of 580, just two shots up on host school Georgia Tech. Southern Cal, Oklahoma State and Virginia round out the field's top five teams after 36 holes.

Sophomore Ty Dunlap (74-74=148) leads the Aggie contingency at the event, sitting in a tie for 26th place. Junior Johannes Veerman (76-74=150) and sophomore Greg Yates (76-75=150) each share 40th place while senior Cameron Peck (77-81=158) and freshman Adrià Arnaus (79-79=158) sit in a tie for 71st after 36 holes of play.

The tournament's third and final round will being Sunday morning at 7:40 (CST). A&M will tee off from the first hole beginning at 8:00 a.m. and will be paired with Iowa and Oklahoma State. Live scoring for the event can be found at GolfStat.com.
