COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M softball team heads to the Spring Klein College Classic this Saturday to play a pair of fall exhibition games.

The Aggies will start the day with a 12:15 p.m. game against Houston and will follow with a 2:30 p.m. matchup with Stephen F. Austin.  The tournament will take place at the Spring Klein Girls Softball Complex, located on Cypresswood Dr. off of Stuebner Airline Rd. and FM 1960 in Spring, Texas.

The team opened the fall schedule with a doubleheader vs. Blinn on Wednesday at the Aggie Softball Complex, resulting in a pair of A&M wins (19-3 and 7-1) over the Buccaneers.

Houston ended the 2012 season in the NCAA Regional with a 35-24 record. The Aggies and Cougars last met in the spring when Houston snapped A&M softball's longest home winning streak in program history at 34 games.

SFA was 16-33 in 2012, and 6-14 in Southland Conference play. The Aggies and Ladyjacks last met in the 2011 regular season when the Aggies traveled to Nacogdoches and returned home with a doubleheader sweep.

The No. 19 Aggies (NFCA final) finished the 2012 season in the NCAA College Station Regional with a 41-18 record in their seventh-ever 40-win season under head coach Jo Evans.
