May Named to USA Softball Elite Team

COLLEGE STATION, Texas - Texas A&M softball rising senior Meagan May (Spring, Texas) was named to the USA Softball Elite team, the national governing body announced today.

May and fourteen other athletes will compete in a series of exhibition games over the next week in Summersville, W. Va. (June 14), and Ashland, Ohio (June 18). The team was selected after the USA Softball Women's National Team (WNT) selection camp in Ashland, Ohio, last week.

The catcher, a 2010 All-American with the Aggies, was on the USA Softball Futures team in 2010 and won a gold medal with the WNT at the Pan Am Games in October. To learn more about USA Softball, go to USASoftball.com.
