COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M Softball Double Play Club is sponsoring free admission for students to this weekend's NCAA Softball Regional. The first 100 students to display an official college ID at the NCAA College Station Regional each day will receive free admission to the Aggie Softball Complex.

The double-elimination regional will take place Friday, May 20, through Sunday, May 22, and features No. 16 seed A&M, LSU, Sacred Heart and Syracuse. Game one Friday between LSU and Syracuse begins at 4 p.m., while the matchup between the Aggies and Sacred Heart is slated for a 7 p.m. start.

A&M received an at-large bid for its 10th-consecutive and 22nd-overall NCAA Tournament berth and was chosen to host a regional. The Aggies ended the regular season undefeated at home in front of the 12th Man.

All-session passes went on sale yesterday and can be purchased through Friday online at 12thmanfoundation.com/tickets, over the phone at 979-845-2311 or 888-992-4443 (toll-free) or in person at the Zone at Kyle Field box office. Individual day tickets go on sale Friday at 8 a.m. Season ticket holders' passes will be reserved until 5 p.m. today.
