OMAHA, Nebraska - Texas A&M soccer signee Jackie Tondl scored the golden goal in the first overtime period to lead her Marian High School team to a Metro Conference girls championship Monday at Buell Stadium.

The second-ranked Marian Crusaders took down the No. 1 Millard North Mustangs, 2-1 on a pair of goals by the Tondl sisters. Jackie, who signed with Texas A&M in February, netted the game winner on a penalty kick in overtime.

Tondl, a defender, will join the Aggies for the 2012 season as the team heads into the Southeastern Conference. The Aggies are the reigning Big 12 Champions. To learn more about Texas A&M soccer, log on to AggieAthletics.com or follow @AggieSoccer on Twitter.
