COLLEGE STATION, Texas -
Tickets to the April 6 match between the Houston Dynamo and Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer (MLS) can still be purchased via the Dynamo web site (www.HoustonDynamo.com) or at the Kyle Field box office.
The match, hosted by the Dynamo, is set for a 7 p.m. kickoff at the Aggie Soccer Stadium. All tickets are general admission and can be purchased for $20.
The Aggies hosted the Dynamo in 2007 in front of a standing room-only crowd of 4,286. Houston defeated Puntarenas of Costa Rica in a CONCACAF Champions' Cup quarterfinal series. The winner of the match between the Dynamo and Kansas City will advance to the final round of MLS qualifying for the Open Cup.
"This is a critical match for the Dynamo as we look to advance in the Open Cup," Dynamo president Chris Canetti said. "This tournament is rich with tradition, and we are eager to make a good showing. Playing it at College Station gives us a unique opportunity to showcase our team and our sport in an outlying soccer-savvy market. We hope to duplicate the successful results from 2007."
