Contributed 12 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss of yardage as a true freshman … saw action in four games … missed several games due to a dislocated elbow suffered in the Texas Tech game … had a big game against Kansas with 10 tackles, including a half TFL … also had a TFL against Idaho.

Posted 59 tackles, 5 sacks, 1 fumble recovery as a senior at Brenham High School … earned 17-4A First Team All-District honors … coached by Glen West at Brenham … chose the Aggies over Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech and several others … played only one season at Brenham after transferring from Louisiana Prep in Opelousas, La … he transferred to Brenham HS after his guardian took a coaching position at Blinn College … also a standout basketball player.
