COLLEGE STATION - The No. 15 Texas A&M women's golf team begins its 2012-13 season this weekend as it travels to Franklin, Tenn. to compete in the Mason Rudolph Intercollegiate hosted by Vanderbilt University.

The 54-hole tournament will run Friday, Sept. 21, through Sunday, Sept. 23, and be held at the Vanderbilt Legends Club. The event will be played on the North Course and golfers will play 18 holes each day.

The par-72 North Course stretches 7,190 yards and has hosted such prestigious events like the LPGA Tour and the U.S. Senior Open Qualifying.

"Three of our four seniors will be traveling this week," head coach Trelle McCombs said. "They've got a lot of experience amongst them and I will look to lean on them."
