Ruzickova Finishes 13th at IELAC

LJUBLJANA, Slovenia - Texas A&M's Katerina Ruzickova finished tied for 13th at the 2012 International European Ladies' Amateur Championship held at the Diners Golf & Country Club.

From Ostrava, Czech Republic, Ruzickova started the championship with her best round, a 5-under-par 66, which put her at the top of the leaderboard after the first 18 holes. Her round consisted of six birdies, 11 pars and only one bogey.

With scores of 74 (+3) and 70 (-1) the next two days, Ruzickova was in eighth place going into the last round and easily made the final cut of the lowest 60 scores.

In the fourth and final round of the IELAC, Ruzickova carded a 3-over 74 which gave her a total score of an even-par 284 (66-74-70-74) and a 13th-place finish out of 144 competitors.

Celine Boutier of France was the winner of the championship with a 16-under 268.
