COLLEGE STATION, Texas - The Texas A&M men's golf team competes in the final competition of its fall schedule this week as it participates in the 2012 Royal Oaks Intercollegiate at Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas, Texas.

"This is our last event of the fall season and we really want to enter the winter break on a high note," Texas A&M head coach J.T. Higgins said. "We have played terrific golf here in the past, the course is fun to play and it sets up well for us. The boys are excited to get back out and compete and we are ready to get back on track."

Texas A&M has been very successful at the event, which was first played in 2008, as the Aggies have won three of the tournament's four team championships. A&M captured last season's team title with an impressive team score of 22-under par 830.

Rounding out the 14-team field is Augusta State, Baylor, Iowa, Lamar, North Carolina, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, SMU, Texas Tech and Tulsa. Baylor and SMU are the co-hosts of the event.

This weekend's line-up for the Aggies will be seniors Cameron Peck and Greg Evans, junior Johannes Veerman and sophomores Ty Dunlap and Greg Yates.

Junior Ryan Kelley, meanwhile, is competing as an individual in the tournament, which begins with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Monday morning.
