James Duncan begins his 16th year with Texas A&M athletics and his ninth as video coordinator for the football coaching staff. He assists the football coaching staff with game tape breakdown, opponent scouting, filiming of daily practices and the development of motivational music videos.

A native of Steilacoom, Wash., Duncan came to A&M from Arizona State where he was a video assistant. Duncan served as an assistant in video operations for the Aggies for seven years before being named the video coordinator.

He supervises two full-time assistants and a student staff. The group works closely with the Aggie football staff in developing the team's game plan utilizing state-of-the-art technology from XOS Digital. This technology allows the coaches to view any play or sequence at the click of a button.

Duncan was named the 2010-2011 Collegiate Sports Video Assocation's Big 12 Conference Video Coordinator of the Year.

Duncan led A&M's efforts in purchasing the first of its kind XOS Facility Integrated system for the Bright Football Complex. Schools and professional teams from around the country have used A&M's XOS model in their own designs back home.

Duncan also assists other A&M coaches with game and match filming.

A 1996 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Arizona State with a bachelor's degree in broadcasting, he is the son of David and Elizabeth Duncan of Olympia, Wash.
