LONDON --- Texas A&M's 2012 NCAA Champions Jaele Patrick and Breeja Larson shined in their respective events on Friday at the 2012 Olympic Games.

Patrick, the 2012 NCAA 3-meter Champion and NCAA Diver of the Meet, was the 18th and final qualifier to advance to the semifinals of the 3-meter springboard with a score of 289.65. Representing Australia, Patrick will compete in the 3m semifinals on Saturday.

Larson, the 2012 NCAA 100-yard breaststroke champion, helped the United States' 4x100-meter medley relay advance to Saturday's final. Larson, who was sixth in the 100 breaststroke earlier this week, contributed a 1:06.66 breaststroke split to help Team USA to a time of 3:58.88 and the No. 4 seed in the final.

In other A&M action, 2010 senior Alia Atkinson (Jamaica) was 37th in the 50 free in a time of 25.98, 2009 senior Triin Aljand (Estonia) was 19th in the 50 free in 25.33, and 2010 senior Julia Wilkinson helped Team Canada to a 12th place finish in the 4x100 medley .
