Michael Matthews is the son of Carrie and Bruce Matthews of Sugar Land, Texas … born January 27, 1994 … his father, Bruce, was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2007 after an illustrious 19-year career with the Houston Oilers and Tennessee Titans, and currently serves as an assistant coach with the Titans … his oldest brother, Kevin, was a two-year starter at center for the Aggies (2008-09) … another brother, Jake, has started the past two seasons at offensive tackle for the Aggies.
