Maroon & White Game Set for Saturday
The annual Texas A&M Maroon & White Spring Football Game, presented by Wells Fargo, will kick at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 28 at Kyle Field.
Texas A&M head football coach Kevin Sumlin announced he will keep the offensive and defensive units together and the scrimmage will be scored in the following manner. Offensively the scoring stays the same with field goals, touchdowns and PATs. The Aggie defense can score points by virtue of a defensive touchdown, a fourth-down stop or a turnover or missed field goal is worth three points, while a sack is worth two points and a defensive three and out is worth one point.
Fans may purchase tickets in advance by going online at AggieAthletics.com and clicking on tickets, or go to 12thManFoundation.com. Adults are $5 and college age students and under are admitted free of charge. Parking is available in the surface lots with the exception of 24-hour reserved spaces or handicap spaces without the proper permit. The University parking garages are available at a fee.
Seating will be in the first deck on the press box (west) side of the stadium or in the north end zone area. Gates to Kyle Field will open at 12 noon.
Dave South and Dave Elmendorf will call the action for the Texas A&M Radio Network with air time at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.
