Thirteen Aggies Invited to NCAA Championships

The Aggies could take as many as 15 student-athletes to the NCAA Championships since two A&M divers will be looking to punch their tickets to nationals at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships March 11-13 at UH.

Thirteen swimmers from the 2013 Southeastern Conference runner-up Texas A&M women's swimming and diving team were invited to the 2013 NCAA Championships, which will be contested March 21-23 in Indianapolis.

Receiving invitations to the national meet were: seniors Jordan King, Maureen McLaine and Tess Simpson, juniors Cammile Adams, Erica Dittmer, Breeja Larson, Melanie McClure, Caroline McElhany and Paige Miller, sophomores Kelli Benjamin, Sarah Henry, Liliana Ibanez and freshman Ashley McGregor. Making return trips to nationals will be McLaine, Simpson, Adams, Dittmer, Larson, McElhany, Miller, Henry and Ibanez, while King, McClure, Benjamin and McGregor will be making their NCAA Championships debuts.

The Aggies could take as many as 15 student-athletes to the NCAA Championships since two A&M divers will be looking to punch their tickets to nationals at the NCAA Zone D Diving Championships March 11-13 at the University of Houston. The pair of divers that met zone qualification were: senior Rebecca St. Germain and junior Jessica Macaulay.

Texas A&M, which finished sixth last season, will be seeking its seventh straight top 10 finish at the NCAA Championships.
