Diana Harbourt
Position: Nutritionist

Diana Harbourt was named Assistant Director for Performance Nutrition in October 2010 after spending two years as a Sports Nutrition Graduate Assistant at Virginia Tech.  Harbourt is a member of the American Dietetic Association; Sports, Cardiovascular, and Wellness Nutrition (SCAN); and the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association and provides all Aggie athletes with expert knowledge and current nutrition information.  Harbourt assists with football training table meals and guides the Aggies to the right choices to optimize their nutrition.  Following her motto of "what can food do for you?" Harbourt coaches the student athletes on the right nutrition plan for them through individual counseling sessions, grocery store tours, and team presentations.  Both Diana and Jon are responsible for the student athlete body composition testing and analysis.  The results of this test help to determine the right nutrition plan for each individual athlete.  Diana is excited to be a part of the Texas A&M program and hopes to aid in propelling the program forward to best benefit all Aggie athletes.

Born in Binghamton, NY and raised in Virginia, Harbourt received her bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech in 2007 where she also gained experience working with the football team and with the other athletes.   She completed her dietetic internship at the University of Virginia in 2008.  Harbourt grew up an athlete participating in soccer, swimming, basketball, tennis, track and horseback riding and most recently mountain biking, snowboarding, and various marathons.
