The track building sits along Olsen Blvd. on west campus, attached to the new West Campus Training Room and just a few feet behind the grandstands of the Anderson Track & Field Complex. Completed in the spring of 2003, it gives the Texas A&M track program a true place to call home.
The building features spacious men's and women's locker rooms, coaches offices and ample storage for the large amount of equipment the Aggies use throughout the year.
Each locker room is wide open and includes many lockers, a carpeted main area and bench seating in front of each locker.
A large office just inside the main entrance gives Aggie coaches satellite offices just off the track, allowing for better interaction between coaches and athletes on a daily basis. In addition, the room can easily be used as a meet operations room when A&M hosts conference, regional or national events.
Along with new locker rooms and offices, the Aggies added a dry storage area underneath the grandstands. It gives coaches and managers a place to store large outdoor objects such as jumping pits and hurdles and not worry about the effects of weather on the equipment.
