  • With the opening of the soccer building in the spring of 2003, the Texas A&M soccer team has a new place to build on its championship tradition.

Located just a few yards from the top-notch playing surface of the Aggie Soccer Complex, the soccer building features a spacious locker room, players' lounge, coaches offices, a conference room, ample storage space, officials' dressing rooms and public restrooms.

Oak wooden lockers outline the locker room, which features a large shower and restroom area and door that leads directly out to the playing surface. Each locker has ample space to hang clothes and jerseys while providing several storage areas for shoes.

The spacious players' lounge provides the Aggies a place to relax, study, watch game film, or meet prior to kickoff. The lounge includes several leather couches, a big-screen TV, three computer stations and dry-erase boards for the coaches to use in strategy or film sessions.

The soccer staff has an office at the front of the building, allowing the coaches to be even more accessible to the student-athletes. A conference room allows for individual film study, small meetings or press conferences.

A large storage area gives the Aggies a place to keep jerseys, balls, field markers and all the other equipment utilized on a daily basis.

The entranceway to the soccer building is adorned with photographs and the numerous championship trophies that Texas A&M soccer has brought home to Aggieland.
