Adam Quisenberry

Adam Quisenberry is in his third year as Assistant Media Relations Director after joining the Texas A&M athletic department in August of 2010. He serves as the primary media contact for the Aggie men's basketball and men's golf programs as well as a secondary contact for football.

During his first two years in College Station, Quisenberry worked with the A&M baseball team which enjoyed an outstanding run of success on the diamond as Texas A&M claimed the 2011 Big 12 Championship and made a trip to Omaha, Neb., for the 2011 College World Series. Following both the 2011 and 2012 campaigns, Texas A&M's Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park was selected by the NCAA selection committee as a regional tournament host site with Quisenberry serving as the media coordinator for each event.

Coming to Texas A&M after spending two years as Assistant Director of Athletics Communications at the University of Houston, Quisenberry served as UH's publications coordinator in addition to working with the Cougar women's basketball and women's tennis programs. He also assisted with the Houston Regional of the 2010 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, which was hosted by UH and Rice University at Reliant Stadium.

Quisenberry has also spent time as the Director of Media Relations at West Texas A&M. During his time at WTAMU, he was in charge of the athletics communications for the school's 13-sport athletics program.

In addition to hosting numerous Lone Star Conference championship events, WTAMU was the host site for several NCAA Regional level competitions including the 2008 NCAA-II Women's Basketball South Central Regional Tournament, 2007 NCAA-II Men's Soccer Midwest Regional Tournament and 2006 NCAA-II Volleyball Southwest Regional Tournament, during all of which Quisenberry served as the tournament media coordinator. WTAMU's football team, which was consistently ranked in the Top 10 and claimed the LSC Championship in both 2006 and 2007, was selected as the host team for the opening round of the NCAA-II playoffs both seasons.

Before taking the position at WTAMU, Quisenberry spent one year as a Media Relations Assistant at Texas Tech, serving as the sports information contact for soccer and softball, while helping with game-day duties for Tech football and basketball.

The Quanah, Texas, native also served one year as a Media Relations Assistant at the University of Kansas where he worked with KU's baseball and soccer programs in addition to assisting with game-day media relations efforts for Jayhawk football and men's and women's basketball. Quisenberry also helped to coordinate the media aspects of the 2004 NCAA Women's Soccer Lawrence Regional.

Quisenberry graduated from Texas Tech in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in public relations and is married to Lindsey Lawrence, Director of Operations for the Texas A&M equestrian team.
