As we enter the fifth year of the 12th Man Team Rewards Program, I am continually amazed at the records that you, the 12th Man, continue to set . . . and break. Each year YOU raise the bar to a new level only to raise it again the following season.
We all play an important role in Texas A&M's mission of "Building Champions", and your role is one of the most important of all. Your support, dedication and attendance is the foundation for an outstanding atmosphere which helps our teams win now. It also creates a great recruiting advantage, which helps our future Aggie teams win. Most importantly it creates a successful Home Field Advantage, which intimidates opponents, inspires the athletes and makes the entire gameday experience in Aggieland the best in the nation.
And did I mention its working?
Last year, Texas A&M had the most successful year in Aggie sports history, which included: seven Big 12 Championships, three NCAA Regional Championships, the Sweet Sixteen, a National Championship, the Women's College World Series and a winning percentage of over 70 percent (all sports combined).
None of that would have been possible without the power of the 12th Man. That's why I can wait to see what happens this year as Texas A&M continues Building Champions
Gig ‘em, Aggies!
Bill
